CALLING ALL HAMS!

Posted on December 21, 2023 by BNN Network

Burlingame/Hillsborough Emergency Communications Net Reactivated – Tuesday Evenings, 7:30 p.m.

December 21, 2023 — The Burlingame-Hillsborough EmComm Net has restarted on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 pm. All amateur radio operators are encouraged to check in using the Burl-V repeater, 146.805 MHz, minus offset, with a PL of 192.8 Hz. If the repeater is down or the frequency is unavailable, use Burl-1, 147.525 MHz in the Simplex mode with a PL of 114.8 Hz.

The purpose of the Net is to familiarize users with radio operations that may be called upon in an emergency.

Initially, the net will be run by Rik Kasuga and Mike Chuang, Volunteer CERT Coordinators for Burlingame and Hillsborough, respectively. Because a complete roster of the previous net participants is unavailable, they are asking everyone to share this with any other operators.

For more information, contact
Rik Kasuga, KF6COZ, at [email protected] or
Mike Chuang, KJ6YEE at [email protected]
